The Clouds Are Grey Today

This Chinese New Year wasn’t as exciting, but neither was last year.  Lol, we didn’t do anything!  At least last year we actually we went to the temple to light incense, but this year we didn’t (well, my parents and uncles and aunts went).

Also, because I usually celebrate Chinese New Year in San Jose, we’d go to the Lion Plaza and watch the fire crackers and lion dances, but yeah, this year wasn’t that great.  Since Lion Plaza changed owners last year, the new owner doesn’t allow fire crackers, so not much people go there to celebrate.  And in the past years, my mom’s family would gamble at night but Vinson’s family went somewhere and my family had to go home early because Anna and I had to return to Davis.

So …

Anna, Brian, Tammy, Don and I went to Red Robin for the first time to eat lunch while our parents went to the temple.  Lol, our server was really nice.  And after that, we just shopped around Eastridge Mall, lol, nothing special about this weekend.  I bought magenta pants and a brown shirt, haha, how exciting is that?!?!
