The Adventure at 2:30pm
Yesterday, my friends and I went on an adventure! Seth planned to go on this adventure the week after Chinese New Year but the trip was delayed because either too many people went home or the weather wasn’t good.
Everybody but Allison, Dalen and I knew where we were going. And where did we go??! Lol, we went to a park near the University Court. It was fun and exciting. I felt like a kid again. I played on the swings and jungle gym.
My activities recently have been very nostalgic. Beginning last week, I started searching up old music. I listened to Craig David, A*Teens and S Club 7, lol. And then at the beginning of this week, I started watching Princess Returning Pearl, a Chinese drama I watched when I was a kid.
Today, I finished watching the 1st season, but the 2nd season isn’t subbed. Lol, I asked Anna to find it for me, but she’s not going to, 
. I’m not even sure if they sell the drama with the 2nd season subbed. I could watch the drama with Cantonese dub but I prefer the original. Lol, I found the drama on YouTube with Vietnamese dub, funny stuff. Anna gets it, unless she doesn’t, lol.
Speaking of my sister, I’ve confirmed something this weekend.
Like she said, “No one knows you as well as I do.” It makes me really upset when people don’t follow through with the things they say they’re going to do. It brings my hopes up and then I get disappointed when they don’t actually do what they say. Then I say things I don’t mean. People really shouldn’t take most the things I say, seriously.
And on the issue of disappointments, I’ve confirmed another thing. My mom is a pet hater …
Lol, Anna showed me a cute dog over the webcam and told me that our dad had adopted it from the Humane Society for $150. Haha, first thing I asked when I thought it was ours …
Me: Really? Mommy wants it?
Anna: Yeah, she even held it!
I was shocked but then Anna revealed that as soon as our dad brought the puppy home, our mom made him sell the puppy to our cousin. What a surprise! Not really … got my hopes up. My mom really is a pet hater. Any pet we’ve EVER had she has always made us give it away (except the fish, but they don’t really count).

Lol, what else is new?
Omgosh, I hate lab! My partner is so 
; I don’t know how to describe him (maybe I do, lol) but describing him would only annoy me more.
We didn’t have lab last week, so our section had two weeks to complete the post lab for the 1st experiment. But Ray forgot about it and didn’t start it till the day it was due. He calls me at 7:20am, because he couldn’t figure out the mass of the water measured with the pipet. Lol, omgosh, all you have to do is take the mass of the flask and water and minus the mass of the flask to get the mass of the water. Duh!
At 1:10pm …
Ray: Are you okay, you sounded a little annoyed this morning?
Me: That’s because I just woke up.
Ray: Oh really, I woke you up, I’m sorry. I thought you were already awake for class (our Chem lecture is at 8:00am).
Me: Um, no.
Ray: Oh, did you go to class?
Me: Yeah.
Ray: Oh, I usually wake up an hour before class, you know, so I don’t fall asleep.
Haha, I’m sorry I can’t be as perfect as you. Sure, my alarm was set to ring at 7:20am, the exact time that he called, but that’s beside the point. Nobody likes getting calls that early in the morning from people they don’t want to talk to.
Ray: Do you like me?
Me: Um … I don’t really know you.
Ray: Well, you should get to know me; I’m a nice guy.
Me: …
A couple of minutes later …
Ray: Do you like me?
Me: … Sure.
Ray: I like you, too.
Anita: Hehe, she’s lying.
Ray: What?
Anita: She’s lying.
Ray: What? Is that true?
Me: … Hahaha!
He’s just asking to get hit in the face.

(Lol, the grass is not greener on the other side and not every cloud has a silver lining. The tooth fairy is not real and neither is Santa Claus. That’s life in a nutshell.)
So, yeah, since we didn’t have lab last week, we skipped the 2nd experiment and did the 3rd experiment, but Ray didn’t get that memo even though it was announced in lecture, discussed in lab and printed in the syllabus. Lol, you need to throw stuff in this guy’s face in order for him to notice these things.
Seth thinks that I’m mean (lol) because I was telling him how annoyed I was of my lab partner! I feel so 
! Dalen and Ryan, too. I can tolerate a lot of things and when it comes to my friends, I’ll keep my mouth shut, but I can only take so much and someday, I’m going to crack –> because they keep teasing me about being mean. I’m not usually a mean person, but it’s really hard to be nice in situations similar to this. I know it’s hard to believe I’m not mean because my posts are so sarcastic, but my blog is a way for me to vent. And I won’t say that I’m nice either, but it’s not like I eat babies –> lol, nor do most people but I’ll stop there because I’m making myself sound bad.

I realize how much I don’t like Chem and Math, but my mom apparently wants me to major in BioChem.
Mom: We messed up with your sister, having her major in BioSci, so this time, we’ll get it right and have you major in BioChem. Yes, you’ll be able to find a lot more jobs with a BioChem major than with a BioSci major. You can’t do anything with BioSci these days.
Me: …
Mom: But if you do what Don is doing, you’ll be able to find even more jobs. What is he doing again?
Me: Chemical Engineering.
Mom: Yes, Chemical Engineering, you’ll be able to find a lot of jobs.
Me: I can’t do that, that’s too hard.
Mom: Okay, stick with BioChem then.
Well, I’ve been extremely unproductive today! I’ve spent most of my time today playing Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and blogging. Hehe, I need to stop. This is ridiculous.
