The Clouds Are Grey Today

Last night (or morning) I went to bed at 6:00am but I couldn’t fall asleep till 7:30am.  My dad woke me up at 11:30am but I went back to sleep and didn’t wake up till 12:30pm.  And my family and I left for San Jose around 1:30pm.

So, we arrived at Vinson’s house around 2:30pm and I played Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? like 30 times on Vinson’s DS.  Brian arrived around 4:00pm but our parents and uncle went grocery shopping at Maxim so we couldn’t go to the mall.  And when they came back, we found out that Vinson’s family was going to a party so Anna had to drop our parents and uncle at Tammy and Don’s house, before we were able to do anything fun.

Finally at 5:30pm, we left Vinson’s house but there was no room in our car for Brian and Eric.  We somehow managed and got to Tammy and Don’s house safely and then Anna, Brian, Eric and I went to downtown San Jose to the outdoor skating rink.  I really didn’t want to go , but it was really fun. Anna, Brian and Eric started playing Tag on the rink.  I didn’t want to play (I don’t like being chased by someone ) but it was fun to watch them, hahaha.

We left the rink around 8:00pm in search for some food!  We ended it up going to Pita Pit and ate pitas, hehe.  Then we went to Lollicup and I got some Thai tea.  It tasted okay but the tapioca wasn’t cooked right so it was hard.

At 9:00pm, we went to Target and near 10:00pm we dropped Brian and Eric off at their house.  Anna and I stayed there a bit to use the bathroom.

Me: Hey Eric, can I have some gum? (Brian bought him some Wrigley’s 5 Gum at Target)
Eric: Here.
Me: (Chew, chew) Mhmm, what flavor is this?
Eric: Lush.
Me: What?
Eric: Lush.
Me: (Thinking, what the hell?) What?  Lush isn’t a flavor.
Eric: Well, I don’t know.  It says it here.  See, Lush.  (Points to package)

Me: That’s not the flavor, where’s the wrapper.  I’ve bought this brand before; it says it on the wrapper.
Eric: I just threw it in the garbage.
Me: Ugh, it’s probably Orange.

(Anna walks out of the bathroom)

Me: Hahaha, Annie, Eric thought the flavor was Lush.

(Anna, Brian and I all laugh)

Anna: What’s the flavor?
Me: I don’t know, it’s probably Orange, the gum is orange.
Anna: No, I think it’s Tropical Fruit.
Me: Really?  It tastes like Orange.
Anna: It tastes like that Trident gum.
Me: Oh yeah.
Eric: No, no, yeah, I think it’s Tropical something.
Me: Hahaha, Lush … (Brian laughs too)

Turns out the flavor was Tropical, haha … Orange.  Whatever, I can’t tell the difference.

After that, Anna and I drove back to Milpitas to pick up our parents and uncle and we arrived home around 11:00pm.  Yep, that was a fun day.  Ughhh, now I have to go back to school.  Aaaahh, I don’t want to.  I’m sort of nervous about my new classes.
